Mighty Kicks Kentucky

Zach is excited to use his experience and passion for soccer, along with the Proven Mighty Kicks Programs, to make a lasting impact on the youth of Southern KY!

Zach is originally from Frankfort, KY and a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology. Following graduation, Zach began work as an elementary school teacher in Louisiana where he was named Teacher of the Year in 2011. During his time in Baton Rouge, Zach founded the first girls’ soccer program at Southern University Laboratory School and helped lead the Capital City United Soccer Club U-16 girls to a state runner-up finish at the Louisiana State Cup. In 2013, Zach and his wife, Ashley, moved to Nashville, TN where they each completed their M. Ed degree at Vanderbilt University. Zach holds an M. Ed. in Learning and Instruction with an emphasis in creating early learning environments that support all learners.

Zach and his wife moved back home to Kentucky in 2015 where Zach began serving as the head girls’ soccer coach at Greenwood High School. He now works as the Director of Student-Athlete Development for Women’s Soccer at Western Kentucky University. He currently holds a National “C” License. He has been a club soccer coach for more than a decade in the states of Kentucky, Louisiana, and Tennessee and taught elementary school for eleven years.

Zach looks forward to using his talents and love of the game to help his students develop physically, emotionally and socially!
